“Week of Environment” commenced on the 4th of June by a keynote speech by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, held in the park of Bellevue Palace and hosted by the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU). This event brought together around 190 exhibitors from the realms of business, technology, research, science, and civil society presented their innovative and forward-looking solutions in this two-day event.
Under the motto “Together for climate neutrality“, experts and involved parties discussed strategies for enhancing environmental, climate, and resource conservation.
Among the three projects selected to present their research at the BMBF exhibition stand, the OUTLAST team highlighted their latest advancements in developing a near-real-time drought monitoring and forecasting system using an exhibit. Throughout the event we received various feedback from participants with various background, reflecting a wide range of perspectives and insights.
