On 22nd and 23rd March 2023 about 250 experts of the German hydrological community met for the ‘Tag der Hydrologie’ at Ruhr University Bochum (https://www.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/tdh2023/). Under the topic ‘Nachhaltiges Wassermanagement – Globale und Regionale Strategien’ the 2-days conference was filled with presentations and discussions about urban hydrology, water quality in global change, AI in hydrology, the monitoring and analysis of hydrological extremes as well as challenges in future water governance.
OUTLAST participated in a poster presentation, in which Petra Döll and Tina Trautmann from Goethe University Frankfurt introduced the project and discussed seasonal forecasting of drought hazards, drought indicators, and the interaction with stakeholders in a co-design project.
